area of the Langelinie quay was |

free port. along the mole |
| were a set of
warehouses for storing and |
| distributing
goods. since the actual harbour |
| activities moved
out of this area, its slowly |
| converted to
a new urban area with office lofts, |
| cultural institutions,
small industries and |
| maritime housing
areas. the seaside of the |
| Langelinie quay
is used as a landing stage for |
| cruisers. in
summertime they perform a kind of |
| temporary housing
on the water, on which the |
| equipment on
the quay is reacting, in scale, |
| program and organisational
aspects. |
